Searched for books of creative exercises or prompts the other day to help me get into the habit of daily writing, but I need look no further than my own old story ideas, journals, and commonplace notebooks - so many unexplored thoughts stored within, I could work for years on texts based on themā€¦

Iā€™ve imported all of my old, old transcribed ideas and notes which were just sitting on iCloud as txt files after I copied them over from a backup drive - I didnā€™t know how to deal with them on the iPad until now (that alone might be worth the full version of Ulysses appā€¦)

Exploring the Ulysses writing app, going to test it out on all my devices as much as possible for the trial week

CafƩ, some shopping, and a longer walk in the mall - glad Alexanderplatz has relatively well cleared off paths

Trying out Awake app (via No More Snoozing Alarms) hoping its ā€œmissionsā€ will help me get up better, quicker - multiple alarms every morning have been failing most days for a long time nowā€¦ Also trying out their main app, Structured - I havenā€™t yet found the right todo app - will this be the one?ā€¦

Walked to the library to renew some books only to see that theyā€™re closed for the weekend due to heater issues - at least I got out a bit in the daylight.

Had a lazy evening in from the cold catching up on my open web browser tabs. Looking forward to going out when itā€™s not as cold tomorrow, so we can get another Leseknochen (reading bone) pillow which has turned out to be one of the best recent purchases - it makes for quite comfortable reading. šŸ“–
