Highlights of the walk downtown Berlin today: crows on the roof of Kanzleramt and knapweed wildflowers at the tram stop (plus got to ride in the brand new Urbanliner tram on the way into town).

The modern architectural building of the German Chancellor’s office features many silhouetted crows on the roof of a large concrete frame with curved and straight elements, glass windows, and a rooftop terrace. Purple knapweed flowers in different stages of blooming are growing near the rails of a tram stop curb.
